NEET I exam was held by the CBSE as AIPMT examination on May 1, 2016 and NEET 2016 exam or NEET Phase 2 exam is held on 24th July 2016. CBSE NEET 2016 result is scheduled to be announced on August 17, 2016.

The Medical Council of India, CBSE and Government of India honours the judgment of Supreme Court and now National Eligibility Entrance Test is the single central examination for admission in MBBS and BDS seats across India. The JIPMER and AIIMS entrance examination will be held according to Supreme Court order but other state government and private college examinations are cancelled. If you go by the Supreme Court order, the marks obtained in NEET exam is the only way for getting admission in MBBS and BDS courses across the country and there would be no other entrance test for states or private institutes.

Candidates applying for the NEET phase II examination can do so from the official website of CBSE www.cbse.nic.in.

On 24th July, 2016, NEET phase II examination would be carried out at various test centres throughout the country. Candidates, who have appeared in the phase I of the NEET (previously AIPMT) examination, can also appear in the NEET phase II examination only the candidates need to leave their phase 1 marks. The NEET result of phase 1 and phase 2 would be announced on 17 August, 2016 at the official website of CBSE - cbse.nic.in and we will also share update of the NEET 2016 Results at cbseneetnic.co.in

These are the steps a candidate needs to take in order to Check CBSE NEET 2016 Result:

Candidates need to visit the official website of CBSE www.cbse.nic.in for the NEET 2016 Results. CBSE is also looking to start a different website for the NEET examination, where the candidates would be able to collect all the information like NEET Admit Card details, NEET Syllabus, NEET Test Centres, NEET Paper Pattern, NEET Previous Year Papers and NEET Results.
Then, the candidates need to give their registration number, roll number and date of birth and click submit.
Candidates would be able to see the displayed NEET Results on their computer screens.
Candidates can download the NEET PDF file, the NEET merit list displayed of the candidates for Phase I or Phase II examination.
You must take printout of the NEET results 2016 for future use.

The NEET Result 2016 date is fixed tentatively as 17th August 2016 when both Phase I and Phase II examination marks as well as NEET merit list would be released. The Candidates would be provided the courses at different medical colleges and universities in India based on the marks they have got in the examination.
