NEET 2017: Students from Tripura can choose Bengali as medium
New notification has been issued regarding the NEET 2017 exam which states that students from Tripura can choose Bengali as medium and this option to choose Bengali is also available for students who have already applied for the NEET UG 2017 exam.Candidates who fill the form after issue of this notification and opt for Bengali as a medium of question paper can choose Agartala and West Bengal. The Candidates belonging to Tripura who have filled their forms must note that they can choose their medium of exam centres as per the time of making corrections in the online application form.
Candidates must look out for another notification which will be available on the NEET official website cbseneet.nic.in which offer details of changes that will be allowed along with the time schedule. The correction facility will be available online only and no offline requests will entertained under any circumstances.
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET-UG is an entrance examination in India, for students who wish to pursue medical course (MBBS/ dental course (BDS) or postgraduate course (MD /MS) in government or private medical colleges in India. NEET-UG (Undergraduate), for MBBS and BDS courses, are held by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). NEET-UG replaced the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) and all individual MBBS exams held by states or colleges themselves in 2013. Many colleges and institutes had already taken a stay order and held private examinations for admission to their MBBS and BDS courses.
