NEET UG 2017: Allocation of MBBS/MDS Seats
The Central Board of Secondary Education is to conduct the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in the session 2017-18 on Sunday, May 7, 2017. National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG), 2017 will decide the admissions to all seats of MBBS/BDS courses. The NEET UG seats are divided in the following categories, like All India Quota Seats, State Government Quota Seats, State/Private/Management/NRI Quota Seats in all Private Medical / Dental Colleges or any Private/ Deemed University, Central Pool Quota Seats. Candidates must remember that admissions to all seats of MBBS/BDS courses will be completed via National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG), 2017.
The seats are classified into the above mentioned categories. NEET UG Counselling for successful candidates under 15% All India Quota seats is held by the MCC/ DGHS. The NEET UG counselling for admission in seats under the control of other States/Universities/Institutions is to be held as per the notifications issued separately by the authorities concerned. During the NEET UG 2017 counselling, the eligibility criteria, self-declaration, other documents, etc. of the eligible candidates will be verified as per norms specified by the respective authorities and Medical/Dental Colleges.
